sleeping for a month and a half
blocked, I avoid that
b l i n k i n g cursor,
the blank document that stares back into
me, the mound of Bukowski on the printer
telling me of the block HE’S had
and how HIS typewriter fell
silent among bluebirds on telephone wires
and stared
at HIM
"tombstone still."
don’t try?
every few days though
I force that cursor over
and down and over
and down
.
hm.
it just stopped again,
now:
the cursor flashing
baby lightning,
dark contrast at one in the morning
and I worry again,
now:
do I write about birds too much?
hm.
do I want to save the changes I made to Document 1?
